Storytown Website

I just wanted to update with my experience with the website.

The Storytown website (posted below by Lisa) has been an awesome resource this year! I was making all of my smartboard lessons and resources from scratch and this has been a great way to not only take advantage of premade notebook files and powerpoints, but also to compare how I am using Storytown in comparison with other 2nd grade teachers.

Thanks again to Lisa for sharing and also for linking it to tinyurl!!!! I could never remember this long website but now I can pull it up from anywhere! :)

I look forward to seeing my 2nd grade Adams 14 all stars at PD day on the 30th!!

StoryTown Resource

This is an amazing website for teacher-made StoryTown resources.

Here is a link for pages for grades k-5, if you feel like sharing with your colleagues.

First Full Day

Well, I had all the kids all day today. Still haven't hooked up the SmartBoard. There is just too much else to do, right off the bat. My plan for today or tomorrow is to read First Day Jitters and use the Promethean flip chart for it that Melissa found. I have downloaded Promethean for personal use and it will be interesting to see how it works out when I use a flip chart on a SmartBoard.

Sharing

We have several global learner second grade teachers. This is a place to share all our resources, thoughts, and questions (and off topic conversations as well.)
